Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28, 1967) is an American actor and a singer. Wuhrer first made her acting debut as a teenager. Her most well-known role was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as playing the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. There are three of her siblings. As a teenager, she was a singer who performed in clubs, escaping from her family in order to perform. After attending the Wooster school at the age of thirteen and began to study acting. After that, she studied at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College located at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, under the famous teacher Uta Hagen. Wuhrer was a student. She was born in Brookfield on April 28th on the 28th of April, 1967. Her father is an German American policeman as well as an auto salesman. Kari has three brothers and sisters. When she was in her teens, she performed in nightclubs in secret, escaping to take a break. Kari at the time was 13 years old, attended the Wooster School and Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She also attended drama classes in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which she was taught by a professor known for her work as Uta. Kari began performing as a teenager, and her first break on television coming on 1987's MTV Remote Control.
