Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he is known in the world of pop music, is a British singing and composing. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. Born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school where along with three fellow students, he founded his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. The band won in 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the excellent presentation they gave. He always had an interest in the arts, however he also wished to become an attorney, physiotherapist or even scout. He was employed at the local bakery for a few hours to support his family financially. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. This meant that his group had to be split. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd be forming an ensemble called One Direction after the X Factor audition. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group. The group formed in the year 2010. During the competition the band played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group was one of the contenders to win the contest. However, they came in third in front of Rebecca Ferguson. Even though Harry Styles and his group were not crowned winners, Cowell signed a deal worth 2 million pounds to One Direction to sign with the Syco record label.
