Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American who was born in Miami Florida. Her mother is English and half Spanish. Her parents were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father is an Argentine with Scottish and English heritage. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English heritage. She was the first born of a clan of six children. Four of her siblings are from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. After living in Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatizing and she did not take the time to learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House, a school in the same district as Northlands was obligated to accept her. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in plays. Then she dropped out of the high school aged 16 to pursue an acting profession. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to work as an actress. her dreams came true when she was given a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
